Tiger’s eye is so mysterious. I love this gemstone in this necklace and earring set. The range of colors catches the eye, but the tones are so versatile and work with so many other colors. Tiger’s eye is a staple in my own jewelry collection. Even with a wide array of jewelry, I find myself going back to this gemstone set.

This piece is completed by the freshwater pearls. They highlight the lighter colors and have a luminosity of their own.

I love shells and I love everything shells represent- summer, beaches, cool tides and salty waters. The blue and tan notes in the genuine Mother of Pearl with delicate ocean blue shells are so natural and complement any skin tone. I love this set with sandals and a flowy outfit.

Set of the day: 1/3/10

This was a favorite of mine as soon as it started coming together! I loved the variation in the bead colors and the  pendant. The braided strands sit so nicely on the collar bone and it really takes an understated white blouse to a whole new level. The earrings are simple but elegant- they add class and sparkle. I love the way the light beads stand out against dark hair- they don’t disappear like a gold loop would.

The colors in the necklace complement any skin tone: olive, fair, dark, or tanned. I love the versatility and hope you enjoy it!

Set of the day: 1/2/10

I made this custom piece for someone who requested an antique filigree connector and mother of pearl. I thought the modern feel of the geometric, peacock shells would work really nicely with the traditional designed connectors. The alternation of hard edges and soft round edges completed the look.

This color mother of pearl looks fantastic with grey or blue and adds an elegant touch. I hope you enjoy it!
